Romantic Country Couple Inspiration

Rolling country hills are always a favourite of mine when it comes to Australian weddings. There is something utterly romantic about the different shades of green, the sun-dried grasses, the contrasts that Mother Nature brings to life.

As we celebrate entering a new phase of Australian weddings – where marriage equality (is finally) legal, so many wedding pros we love are coming together to produce celebratory editorials and today? We get to share one that is filled with the rolling country beauty.

“The style of the shoot was effortless romance. Airy, calm and charming” We wanted to capture the pure, romantic love against the country backdrop, in light of Australia’s plebiscite and their strong beliefs around it. The inspiration behind the shoot was to create relatable moments with the same-sex theme. To be inclusive of all sexualities in a setting that we are all very familiar with. The shoot occurred at an important time where every single person in the team felt it was important to deliver a message that we all supported. Jessica and Jade both come from different backgrounds. In Jade’s words, the combination of herself and Jess as the models was beautiful in itself. You don’t need to identify as LGBT to support something if you think it is right.
